GLOBAL PAINT FOR CHARITY ANNOUNCES THE RESIGNATION OF ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
The Global Paint for Charity, a sustainable paint waste management agency and the leading provider of used paint around the world, today announced the resignation of its Board of Directors.
Rony Delgarde who is the Founder, President and CEO of Global Paint for Charity for 8 years states that” he was very surprised and disappointed by the decision being made by his appointees of the entire Board members of his nonprofit organization at the last meeting when they had requested his resignation from his current position at his non-profit Global Paint for Charity, Inc. It is very unethical for board members of any organization to demand a request from a founder and a president of an organization without any findings of probable causes to sensitive issues or ongoing investigations from judicial procedures. Even though these GPC’s Board of Directors do not really understand the functions and complex ideas behind the Global Paint for Charity, Rony Delgarde has trusted and put his beliefs on them to help him carry on with structural building up the process of his organization.
Due to these unwanted circumstances, they all are voluntarily resigned from Global Paint for Charity’s Board which is relevant to do so. As many of you have already known for 8 years, Rony Delgarde works very hard (days and nights) in every area of this organization to maintain and fulfill its missions. As Founder, President and CEO of Global Paint for Charity, he will continue to focus on the most important tasks of this organization. After he has put his trust in the Directors and believes in them, they have let him down. However, Rony Delgarde states that” I have no other choice but to move forward with Global Paint for Charity’s mission to protect the environment in the United States and change people's lives in Developing Countries around the world One Gallon of Paint at a Time.”
Via emails on May 1st, 2018, the Six (6) Directors and the Chairman of the Global Paint for Charity have submitted their resignation effective as of May 1st, 2018.
The resigning Chairman (Cliff Stanford) stated that he spoke with other Board of Directors further about the process and expressed that the entire Board of Directors do not need to have further meetings at this point. If any Directors want to resign from the board, the process is to send an email to Rony Delgarde. And he asked that the Directors copy him so that their resignation can be recorded. The six other Board of Directors (James Tompkins, Vickie Irwin, Sam Tandon, Homer Torres, Joshua Jones, and Ted Williams) concurred with the Chairman’s decision, have in turn emailed in their individual resignation from the Board of GPC, effective as of the same date.
Rony Delgarde/ Founder, President, and CEO of Global Paint for Charity wished the resigned Chairman and all resigned Board Members of GPC his best wishes for future success in all their endeavors.

Our 40-foot container carrying 4,500 gallons of paint for Dominican Republic has been released.
Thank
you so much for your prayers and support!! We got some great news and
beautiful photos from Gustavo Caesar (Motley Mission Crew, projects in
Santiago, Dominican Republic), of him and the neighbors unloading the 40
foot-load container of paint. This was the final indication that the
4,500 gallons of paint that has been held up in Dominican Republic's
customs since October 4th last year has been released. According to
Gustavo, 1/3 of the paint has been distributed to the local residents in
Los Mameyes, La Salsa and Los Gomez areas that got hit by the most
powerful hurricane ever recorded in our time, and the disaster currently
affects 25.4 million people in the Caribbean and Central America
regions.
Our efforts consist of renovation
of local houses, churches, privately owned stores, schools and
community centers that are now used as shelters. Gustavo asked each
family to choose the colors they would like to paint their home and then
the painting has begun. Today we are delighted to report to you with a
great smile of gratitude knowing more than 50 houses are painted already
and hundreds local residents have received the paint to beautify their
homes, local churches and schools. Many local residents are thankful for
the paint and say that all their bright colors will bring them hope and
happiness for years to come. This has brought tears to our eyes. Below
are some homes just painted last week. Those pictures really touched my
heart and also reminded me of my vision and ministry to use color to
change lives and beautify communities around the world one gallon of
paint at a time.
Global Paint for Charity is proud to support Motley Mission Crew’s
efforts on the ground in Dominican Republic with this shipment. And
soon we will get more pictures and even maybe a video of great progress
in the region. Our sincere thanks to the UPS Foundation
for sponsoring the entire shipping costs, but they also picked up the
tab for demurrage costs in Dominican Republic which was so very generous
of them. We appreciate it so immensely.
We
are grateful for using our donated paint and supplies to make the
difference in the Caribbean, Central America and Africa during this
important time. But it will take months, even years for everyone to
rebuild quickly and replace what have been lost. If you enjoy our work,
please consider supporting us anyway you can. Visit us online at www . globalpaints . org/donate . php and to learn more about The Project Santiago please visit http ://projectsantiago . com/home . html

The Global Paint for Charity Honored with 2017 Metro Atlanta Chamber’s E3 Award
(Atlanta, October 5, 2017) - We are all honored, humbled and delighted to announce that the Global Paint projects (Known as “Global Paint for Charity or “Global Paint“ or “GPC“) has won the Metro Atlanta Chamber's 2017 E3 Award in the NEW VENTURE category for startup or new business that advances sustainability through environmental and sustainable business solutions.
The Global Paint project was created to give each person in developing countries and those in need in the United States, we serve the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of their shelter through every gallon of recycled paint. Through our efforts, we strive to protect the environment, change lives, beautify and transform underserved communities throughout the world. Currently, the organization serves 24 developing countries in the Caribbean, Central America, the Middle East and Africa and many major cities in the U.S. We are passionate about the youth here in the City and offer numerous volunteer opportunities in Atlanta areas. Every day many young people are inspired by the work they perform with our organization whether by volunteering to paint in our community or to work at our donation facility and storage. We have dozens of outdoor home painting projects throughout the city for the elderly senior residents that are physically and/or financially unable to paint the residence on their own. Also, the youth help us to paint murals, classrooms at public schools and parks in our communities. Last year, the juvenile offenders have completed 2930 hours of community service—this is amazing!
Many thanks to The Metro Atlanta Chamber for this outstanding award, also thanks to GPC Board of Directors, volunteers, donors and friends who have been actively supporting and promoting our humble cause. It’s estimated that 80 percent of the world’s homes and schools face the dreary reality of unpainted walls in underprivileged communities, and more than 70 million children have never had access to a painted classroom. Seeing the smiles on the faces of every person we help through our programs is a great joy for all of us---whether it is a millennial who needed to complete multiple hours of community service, or an elderly widow who needed assistance in face-lifting her property. Thank you for making this possible and for your unwavering commitment to the work ahead. With your help, we can brighten our world one gallon of paint at a time. Because we believe that the right color in homes or classrooms can truly change the atmosphere of their environment and even livelihoods.

Shipped 4500 gallons of paint to Dominican Republic!
With
so many natural disasters with record hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding,
and destruction of lives and properties around the world lately, it's
awful to see that many countries have taken a real beating in the past 3
months! Surely we hope our contribution will make one feel better and
our prayers, thoughts, and supports go out to everyone effected by all
those terrible events.
Another 18 wheeler trailer filled with nearly 4500 gallons of Latex
paint and supplies to its final destination to Dominican Republic in
Caribbean. Huge thanks to the UPS Foundation for
providing to our friends at Grace Dominican Mission Team an in-kind 40
ft shipping container to ship the paint. It heads out on Thursday to Los
Gomez in the Dominican Republic. This paint, which we estimate will
impact over 2,000 people in the region, is so much larger than anything
we have attempted in Caribbean. Let’s pray the container gets through
all the hurricanes and impacts many people in the country. Our hope is
that all underserved populations may live in a very comfortable and
painted home one day.
We are all very thankful to Rick Raymond, Grace Dominican Mission Team leader and First Vice President at Wells Fargo
in Battle Creek in Michigan for what his organization has done to help
move this project from concept to reality and Rony Delgarde for his
continued leadership and the great work, his dedication and generous
heart. “I don't know what your belief system is, but everyone involved
in this project feels that God's hand has been on it from the start-
casting, directing, and guiding us every step of the way. “ Rick
Raymond.
Stay tuned for full details about the progress and livelihood improvement in the regions. The pictures are from our partners and volunteers loading all the paint onto the container.
Visit our Partner page to see if your company or non-profit
organization may be eligible to partner with us and receive an immediate
tax deduction for your support and in-kind contribution or send us a
request to get some free paints. We have great news for those of you who
will need latex paint for new homes or to renovate and upgrade existing
damaged homes for victims from the Hurricane Harvey and Irma, Global Paint
will donate 25000 gallons of paint to help our communities down the
East Coast!! So if you know anyone who can use our product please share
this with them. We will be releasing the full details in the next few
days for you to get the paint and take advantage of our free paint
programs to change lives and beautify the world. http://globalpaints.org/partner.php

About the Global Paint for Charity
The Global Paint project was created to give each person in developing countries and those in need in the United States, we serve the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of their shelter through every gallon of recycled paint. Through our efforts, we strive to protect the environment, change lives, beautify and transform communities throughout the world. Since 2010, we have collected more than 200,000 gallons of paint and redistributed more than 160,000 gallons to help with renovations and rejuvenation of family homes, homeless shelters, basic schools, churches, orphanages, and hospitals in targeted communities around the world and in many major cities right here in the U.S. and the fair market value of such donation is 4.6 million U.S. dollars.
All around the world, we can notice the immediate need of colors to bring hope and happiness in poor communities. It’s estimated that 80 percent of the world’s homes and schools face the dreary reality of unpainted walls in the underprivileged communities, and more than 70 million children have never had access to a painted classroom. While there may be more pressing issues in developing countries than the facade of a neglected wall, dusty classroom or a building, we believe that the right color in their rooms, and classrooms can truly change the ambiance and atmosphere of their environment and their livelihood.
Thanks to our program success, we have donated paint to support our major projects in Liberia, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo, Haiti, Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Guyana and Jamaica. We still have a lot more work to do to be able to bring colors, hope, unity, peace and happiness to many other regions around the world. While getting people and businesses to donate paint isn’t a problem but collecting, mixing, repackaging and shipping the paint requires lot of funding. With just a small monetary donation from people like you and a little help from the corporations and private firms, we can make a real difference to better livelihoods around the world and help eradicate the causes and effects of poverty and sanitation solution. Your donation can provide buckets for repackaging the paint, cover transportation and shipping costs, or life-changing opportunities like supporting our micro-finance program. With your help, we can paint the world one gallon of paint at a time.
Global Paint for Charity is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, your monetary contributions and donations are tax-deductible.
Keep following us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and the blog on our website to learn about exciting updates about our programs in the future.
